Here I Stay Festival is an independent international music festival, which takes place in Sardinia, Italy.
The Festival best represents the kind of projects that the cultural association Here I Stay produces here in the Sardinian territory. The goal is to limit the isolation of music in Sardinia as much as possible, creating for a cultural exchange of different realities, some of which aren't often found in other musical events on the island.
The Here I Stay Festival, now in its 12th edition, has become one of the most anticipated and appreciated musical events of the summer in Sardinia; a great party where you can listen to good music, meet new people, relax or dance non-stop, in a location surrounded by nature.
A full immersion experience of live music with Sardinian, Italian and international bands, DJ sets and exhibitions of handicrafts and artisan products.
It's a unique opportunity for music lovers, for those who are not satisfied with the "usual" and who are open to making new musical discoveries.
Since 2006 more than 200 bands have been called to perform on the stages at the HERE I STAY FESTIVAL in front of large, attentive and passionate audiences.

HERE I STAY FESTIVAL è un festival internazionale di musica alternativa e indipendente che si svolge in Sardegna.
Nasce con l’obiettivo di arginare il più possibile l’isolamento musicale in Sardegna, offrendo l’opportunità di uno scambio
culturale con realtà differenti e che difficilmente trovano spazio nella programmazione di eventi musicali nell’isola.

The 12th edition of the Here I Stay Festival will take place in the rural location of Cracaxia, in Morgoro, Sardinia. Easy to reach, it is just 1 minute off the 131 State Highway and about 30 minutes by car from the beaches of the Costa Verde.
Cracaxia is bordered to the north by the left bank of the Rio Mogoro river, the location of the ancient village of the same name, the ruins of which are still visible.
The festival area surrounds the charming Medieval church of Santa Maria Cracaxia, which dates back to the 10th - 12th century. A rest area with showers and toilets will be available just a short distance from the concert zone, for those who want to pitch a tent and enjoy the festival in true “rural” style ☺
The archaeological site of Cuccurada lies just 4 km from Cracaxia and overlooks the Campidano plain. Its exhibition spaces will play host to a number of Festival events.

le cui rovine sono tuttora visibili. L’area festival si sviluppa attorno alla suggestiva chiesetta di Santa Maria Cracaxia di
origine medievale (risalente al X-XII secolo).

dall’area concerti per chi volesse piazzare la tenda per vivere il festival in pieno stile “rurale” ☺
A 4 km da Cracaxia troverete il complesso archeologico di Cuccurada che domina la piana del Campidano. I suoi spazi espositivi ospiteranno alcuni eventi del Festival.
This year, the HERE I STAY FESTIVAL reaches its 12th edition, and is considered to be one of the most-loved events in the Sardinian summer music season, a grand festival where you can listen to good music, meet people, discover new bands, relax or dance ‘til late, all immersed in nature. This section offers all the practical information, regulations and our advice for fully enjoying the HERE I STAY FESTIVAL.
For reasons of security, the personnel responsible will carry out checks at the entrance. We therefore invite you to follow these rules and recommendations in order to render the entrance procedure as smooth as possible and make the festival experience a pleasure for everyone.
It is forbidden to bring in glass, cans and disposable plastic bottles. This is not only for safety reasons; the festival area is plastic free.
It is forbidden to bring in alcohol.
It is forbidden to bring in any blunt instruments or any objects destined for unauthorised sale.
At the entrance, the authorised personnel will provide you with an identity bracelet for the festival. This must be work for the entire duration of the festival: you will not be allowed to access the area without it. The bracelet is water- and tear-resistant. Be careful not to lose it, as it cannot be replaced.
Minors can only enter if accompanied by an adult. Make sure you bring earmuffs or earplugs to protect the hearing of younger children!
Dogs can enter only if on a lead. However, for their well-being the high volume of the music and the general bustle are not recommended. We rely on your common sense in this case. Make use of the quieter areas where you can enjoy the festival while limiting any distress for your dog.
The HERE I STAY FESTIVAL accepts no responsibility for any objects that are lost or stolen, or for any damage to persons or things.

Tickets are in the name of the participant and cannot be refunded for personal reasons or transferred to third parties without timely communication to the festival organisers. Children up to the age of 13 enter free of charge. Please be prepared to provide evidence of their age with an identity document.
Safety is important at the HERE I STAY FESTIVAL. The organisers are committed to protecting the safety of spectators, bands and staff.
In the event of weather conditions that pose a threat to the participants, the organisers reserve the right to cancel either select performances or the entire festival, even without prior notice, in order to guarantee everyone’s safety. All of these cases come under the category of “force majeure” and do not qualify for any ticket refunds.

From Cagliari
Take the SS131 towards Sassari until you reach the 62 km mark. Take the exit for Mogoro and then take the first right for Pabillonis. Go straight on, take the first road on the right in the direction of the restaurant “Da Egisto” and then turn right again. Follow the Complanare Ovest road for approximately 700 m, and you will see the “Here I Stay Festival” sign on the right. 450 m further on you will reach Cracaxia.
From Sassari

From Golfo Aranci and Olbia
From Golfo Aranci take the Str, Panoramica Olbia, at the second roundabout take the 2nd exit, and continue along the Circoncallazione Ovest towards SS131. Go straight on, take the first road on the right in the direction of the restaurant “Da Egisto” and then turn right again. Follow the Complanare Ovest road for approximately 700 m, and you will see the “Here I Stay Festival” sign on the right. 450 m further on you will reach Cracaxia.
The nearest train station is “Uras Mogoro”. Check train times at www.trenitalia.com. The station is about 8.5 km from the festival site and, considering the dangerous nature of the road, cannot be travelled by foot. To reach the festival, we recommend advance booking the shuttle service, which will make a number of trips to and from the festival. More details will be available soon.
There is also a train station at Cagliari Elmas airport.
Our partner Sardinia Ferries, with its #navigialle, links the mainland to Sardinia via the Livorno - Golfo Aranci route. There is also a route from Toulon (France) to Porto Torres. Organise your trip on www.corsica-ferries.it!
The three main airports in Sardinia are: Cagliari (Elmas), Olbia Costa Smeralda and Alghero, and they connect the island with a wide range of domestic and international flights.
If you come by plane and want to get to the Here I Stay Festival by train, you will find the Trenitalia station just outside the airport: check train times at www.trenitalia.com. If instead you prefer to travel by car, you will find a range of car hire companies.
Outside the festival area you will be able to park your camper or use a rest area where you can recharge your batteries before setting off for home.

All’ingresso il personale autorizzato ti metterà al polso il braccialetto identificativo del festival. Devi indossarlo per tutta la durata del festival: senza il braccialetto l’accesso all’area è negato. Il braccialetto è resistente all’acqua e agli strappi. Fai attenzione a non perderlo, perché non sarà possibile averne uno nuovo.
L’ingresso ai minori è consentito solo se accompagnati. Assicurati di portare con te cuffie o tappi per tutelare l’udito dei più piccoli!
L’ingresso ai cani è consentito solo se al guinzaglio. Tuttavia, i volumi alti e la confusione non sono raccomandati per il loro benessere. Per questo ci affidiamo al tuo buonsenso: approfitta delle aree più tranquille da dove puoi goderti il festival limitando il disagio per il tuo cane.

La sicurezza a HERE I STAY FESTIVAL è importante: l’organizzazione si impegna a preservare l’incolumità di pubblico, band e staff.
In caso di condizioni climatiche che rappresentino un pericolo per i partecipanti l’organizzazione si riserva la possibilità di annullare alcune esibizioni o l’intero festival, anche senza preavviso, al fine di garantire la sicurezza di tutti. Tutte queste casistiche rientrano nella categoria “Cause di forza maggiore” e non danno diritto ad alcun rimborso dei biglietti d’ingresso.

Da Golfo Aranci percorri la Str. Panoramica Olbia, alla seconda rotonda svolta alla 2ª uscita e continua sulla Circonvallazione Ovest in direzione della SS131, raggiunta la SS131 direzione Cagliari/Nuoro continua fino al km 62e prendi l’uscita per Mogoro. Svolta alla prima a sinistra per Pabillonis. Prosegui dritto qualche metro e prendi la prima strada a destra come per andare al ristorante “Da Egisto”, poi svolta nuovamente a destra. Segui la Complanare Ovest per circa 700 m, sulla destra troverai il cartello “Here I Stay Festival” e dopo circa 450 m arriverai alla località Cracaxia.
La stazione d’arrivo dei treni è “Uras Mogoro”. Consulta gli orari su www.trenintalia.com. La stazione dista circa 8,5 km dalla location del festival e, vista la pericolosità della strada, non è percorribile a piedi. The HERE I STAY FESTIVAL has been eco-sustainable before the term was even invented. We have always believed in respecting the areas that over the years have hosted us and protecting nature has always been our priority.
In addition to a number of traditional initiatives, this year we are presenting a few new features in the spirit of constant improvement.
For the 12th edition in Mogoro, we have organised the planting of 80 trees in an area just a few kilometres from the concert zone. This is our contribution to compensate for the environmental impact, albeit minimal, of the Festival.
As they grow, these trees will absorb CO2, protect the soil and biodiversity, and will also create a green area that in the future will offer shade and rest.
The HERE I STAY FESTIVAL was the first music festival in Sardinia, and one of the first in Italy, to have introduced reusable cups in 2011.
With reusable cups we reduce the waste produced during the Festival by 80%. As well as providing important benefits from an environmental point of view, this also leads to savings on the cost of cleaning up, because we no longer find ourselves faced at the end of the evening with the classic sea of plastic and glass (which is not exactly a pretty sight!).
We use durable, safe and recyclable cups that are toxin free. The cups are handed out in exchange for a symbolic deposit of €1. Whoever wants to get their Euro back just has to give us back the cup (together with the receipt). It’s easy! But others like to keep their cups as a HERE I STAY souvenir, and now have the full service at home.
At the HERE I STAY FESTIVAL, waste separation is compulsory. In all the areas you will find bins for throwing away the different types of waste, as well as ashtrays fitted to all the lampposts scattered throughout the location. We know that when it’s late, it takes a little more effort to find the right place to throw away your food remains or dry waste, but we are sure you can do it!
It doesn’t take much to make a difference; help us to keep the location clean ;)
Since the 11th edition we have introduced the use of compostable plates and cutlery for food consumption. Even the drink straws are compostable. Together with the plates and cutlery, they are to be disposed of in the organic waste bins that you will find throughout the Festival area.
We live on an island where there is no lack of good produce. From meat to vegetables, from pizzas and focaccia baked in the traditional way to bread directly from the baker, for the food offered at the Festival we rely on local partners who use local produce.
By choosing local produce, environmental impact is reduced and there are also benefits for the local economy.
Food is a serious matter; like music, if it’s good it can make your day.
We promote car-pooling as a form of sustainable mobility that is perfect for getting to the HERE I STAY FESTIVAL. As well as reducing CO2 emissions, sharing your car with other people allows you to also save on fuel costs. To get right into the HERE I STAY mood, accompany your journey with the compilation of the groups that will be performing at the Festival!
If you don’t have a car, or you do and you’re looking for travel companions, you can use the BlaBlaCar car-pooling service, which is also an excellent way to meet new people to have a chat with and make the journey more pleasant.
The merchandising stand at the HERE I STAY FESTIVAL also offers pocket ashtrays. If you don’t want to leave the front row to throw away your cigarette butt in one of the ashtrays found in the Festival area, and you don’t want to hold on to it (because throwing it in the ground is NOT an option!), you can get yourself a HERE I STAY pocket ashtray! It can be reused for a whole range of other occasions, on the beach or at the next concert ;)
HERE I STAY FESTIVAL è un evento eco-sostenibile fin da tempi non sospetti: abbiamo sempre creduto nel rispetto degli spazi che in questi anni ci hanno ospitato e salvaguardarne la natura è sempre stata una nostra priorità.
Ad alcune iniziative consolidate abbiamo aggiunto quest’anno alcune novità, con l’obiettivo di fare sempre meglio.
Per la XII edizione a Mogoro abbiamo previsto la piantumazione di 80 alberi in una zona a pochi chilometri dall’area concerti: è il nostro contributo per compensare l’impatto ambientale, seppur minimo, per la realizzazione del Festival.
Crescendo questi alberi assorbiranno CO2, proteggeranno il suolo e la biodiversità, oltre a creare un angolo verde che in futuro fornirà ombra e ristoro.
HERE I STAY FESTIVAL è stato il primo festival musicale in Sardegna, e uno dei primi in Italia, ad aver introdotto nel 2011 i bicchieri riutilizzabili.
Con i bicchieri riutilizzabili riduciamo dell’80% i rifiuti prodotti durante il Festival: oltre ai grandi benefici dal punto di vista ambientale, risparmiamo anche sui costi di pulizia perché a fine serata non ci troviamo più davanti alla classica distesa di plastica e vetro (e non è proprio un bello spettacolo!).
Utilizziamo bicchieri resistenti, sicuri e riciclabili, privi di sostanze nocive. Il bicchiere viene consegnato dietro pagamento di una cauzione simbolica di 1€: chi desidera ricevere indietro l’Euro riconsegna il bicchiere (assieme alla ricevuta), è semplicissimo! Ma c’è chi lo conserva come souvenir dell’HERE I STAY e ora a casa ha il servizio completo.
A HERE I STAY FESTIVAL la raccolta differenziata è d’obbligo: in tutta l’area troverai i bidoni per il conferimento dei diversi rifiuti, compresi i posacenere disposti su tutti i lampioni sparsi per la location. Capiamo che a una certa ora individuare dove buttare l’organico o il secco può richiedere uno sforzo in più, ma dai: ce la puoi fare!
Basta poco per fare la differenza: aiutaci a mantenere la location pulita ;)
Dall’XI edizione abbiamo introdotto l’uso di piatti e posate compostabili per la somministrazione del cibo. Anche le cannucce dei drink sono compostabili: assieme alle altre stoviglie vanno conferite nei bidoni dell’organico che troverai disseminati nell’area Festival.
Viviamo in un’isola in cui i prodotti alimentari buoni di certo non mancano. Dalle carni alle verdure, dalle pizze e focacce lievitate come si faceva una volta al pane acquistato dal fornaio: per l’offerta del cibo ci affidiamo a partner radicati nel territorio, che utilizzano prodotti a km zero.
La scelta di prodotti locali produce un ridotto impatto ambientale e incide positivamente anche sull’economia del territorio.
Il cibo è una questione seria: come la musica, se è di qualità ti svolta la giornata.
Promuoviamo il car-pooling come una pratica di mobilità sostenibile perfetta per raggiungere HERE I STAY FESTIVAL: condividere l’auto con altre persone oltre a ridurre le emissioni di CO2 ti permette di risparmiare anche sui costi della benzina. Per entrare da subito nell’atmosfera HERE I STAY, accompagnate il viaggio con la compilation dei gruppi che suoneranno al Festival!
Chi non ha la macchina, o chi ce l’ha ma cerca dei compagni di viaggio, può utilizzare il servizio di car-pooling BlaBlaCar, un’ottima soluzione anche per conoscere persone nuove con cui fare quattro chiacchiere e rendere il viaggio più piacevole.
